Cedar Falls recently painted the water tower along Cedar Heights Drive, and when they finished,
we put all of our old antennas back up.

First Jay (KC0AKJ) and Dave (KC0GFO) needed to climb the water tower

Then when we were up, it was time to raise the 2 antennas.
First we raised a recieve antenna for the Benton county repeater project.

Then we hoisted a 2 meter antenna for W0MG, along with a support pole.

You can definely see the tower is about 150 feet tall

Jay was able to get his Benton County recieve antenna mounted to the fill pipe of the tower
 

The view up there was great, you could see for miles,
